Election of Dr. Mehrad as the Scientific Memorable Face of the Year 2010

Dr. Mehrad is the founder of the Regional Information Center for Science and Technology (RICeST), the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) and the Central Library and Document Center of Shiraz University (Mirza-ye- Shirazi Library). He has established the Library and Information Science Department in the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Shiraz University. He has also founded the Science and Technology Assessment Group in the Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution and the Library and Information Science Planning Committee in the Higher Education Development and Planning Council.
