Identifying internationally reputed publications by ISC Citation Analysis Department

In order to improve the quantitative and qualitative level of publications, as well as to expand the coverage of the journals analyzed by Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Department of Citation Analysis has identified internationally recognized publications.

In this regard, publications that were sponsored by the authors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries (OIC) were included in internationally recognized databases. Regarding the number of member countries of this organization and the number of reputable publications, in the first step the scientific production of five Islamic countries (Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt) was extracted and then this list was matched with the latest list of cited journal publications. The journals that had the most impact factor were identified as candidate publications for indexing in the citation database of ISC.
