Representatives from Nigerian Ministry of Science and Technology, and National Commission of ISESCO in Nigeria Visit ISC President

Based on the reports of Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) Office of International Scientific Cooperation (OISC), on June, 9, 2019, Dr. Suleiman Babatunde Ramon-Yusuf, director of the directorate of research, innovation, and information technology and member of National Universities Commission in Nigeria as ISC Executive Committee member from Nigeria and Dr. Ibrahim Mohammad Bashir, the secretary general of National ISESCO Commission in Nigeria had a meeting with Dr. Mohammad Javad Dehghani, ISC President, and Dr. Mohammadreza Falahati, consultant to ISC president at ISC president’s office.

At the beginning of this meeting, welcoming the guests, the president and his consultant had an introduction on ISC future programs and goals in Islamic countries and enumerated different approaches for efficient cooperation of Nigerian representatives in order for better distribution of ISC services in Nigeria and Muslim African countries. After that, the Nigerian guests introduced themselves, explained about their responsibilities and the scientific position of Nigeria. After getting acquainted with ISC future programs and goals, they emphasized on the importance of qualitative evaluation of scientific function in Nigeria and Muslim African countries and regarded ISC’s collaboration very important in this issue.
