Potentials for cooperation in publications’ monitoring and indexing

ISC delegation consisting of Prof. S. Ahmad Fazelzadeh, the president, and Dr. Mohammad Reza Falahati, the director of Office of international scientific cooperation, met with Prof. Mehmet Mirat SATOĞLU, the president of TUBITAK ULAKBIM, and its directors on Feb. 15, 2023 in ULAKBIM headquarter.

This meeting was held in the presence of Professor Tuncay Döğeroğlu, ISC executive committee member from Turkey. This has been a step in a round of ISC actions to expand scientific, research, technology and innovation interactions with prominent research, information and scientific centers in the Islamic world.

In this meeting, Prof. Tuncay Döğeroğlu first gave a brief introduction to ISC and the Scientific Information and Networking Centers in Turkey and said: "There are many similarities between these two organizations in terms of tasks, and I have no doubt that today's talks can be useful, constructive and informative for both parties».

Among the most significant subjects that discussed in this meeting are: negotiations on the indicators and measures of journals’ evaluation, allocating the “DOR” code to all the indexed journals in ULAKBIM, providing the access to documents indexed in each system.
