ISC Islamic World University Rankings 2022 Released

ISC Islamic World University Rankings 2022 was published and among 57 Islamic countries’ universities, a total of 460 universities from 30 Islamic countries were eligible to participate in this ranking system.

The top 10 universities in this ranking are accordingly from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Egypt, Iran, Qatar and Pakistan. Saudi Arabia with 4 universities, Iran with 2 universities and the rest of the countries with 1 university each are among the top ten universities of the Islamic world.

Due to the fact that many Islamic countries’ universities are not included in the World University Ranking, Islamic World University ranking in addition to specifying the position of each university among the Islamic countries, can also show universities’ weaknesses and strengths, and this could be the basis for criteria targeting and policy making.

Of the 57 Islamic countries, a total of 460 universities from 30 Islamic countries have met the conditions of being in this ranking system. The largest number of universities belong to Turkey, Iran and Pakistan, with 111, 74 and 41 universities in this ranking, respectively.
