Starting point of cooperation between ISI and ISC

Representatives of ISI under the supervision of Dr. Wendland were presented in Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) in April 18, 2011 and offered their suggestion for beginning scientific cooperation with ISC.
One of the interested fields discussed, was “Incite” system which is lately designed and developed by ISI. Data system of “Incite” is trying to edit data and specify exact scientific status of different universities of the world. Since authors’ and universities’ names are written in several forms and this differentiation causes incorrect results in preparing science production statistics, editing data in Incite will help to solve this problem.
ISI will sign an agreement with ISC, so that ISC by offering documented file of authors’ and universities’ names of Iran and other Islamic countries will act as a focal point for ISI. Also ISC will be indexed in Web of Knowledge according to the agreement.
