ISC Joint Virtual Meeting with Qatari EC Member, Editors-in-Chiefs of Journals and University Professors of Qatari Universities

Islamic World Science and Technology Monitoring and Citation Institute (ISC) held a joint virtual meeting with ISC EC member from Qatar, accompanying with Editors-in-Chiefs of Qatari Journals and University Professors of Qatari Universities.

Following the first ISC executive committee members’ meeting in 2018, this virtual meeting aims to familiarize Dr. Talal Al-Emadi, ISC EC member with the new activities of this institute and discuss on how to expand these services among the Arab countries of the region, presenting a report on the ranking of Qatar universities.

In this virtual Meeting, Dr. Fazelzadeh, ISC president, while welcoming the participants in this meeting, gave a brief history of the establishment, services and activities of ISC and its position in the national and international levels.

He also explained about the scientific and technological achievements of ISC such as the evaluation, indexing and ranking of scientific publications and universities and science and technology platforms such ideas and Needs Platform (INP) and the Portal to get familiar with elites and future makers (DANA).

In the continuation of this virtual meeting, Dr. Talal Al-Emadi, ISC EC member in Arab countries, while expressing his satisfaction with the organization of this meeting, said: “Considering the international scientific activities of ISC, the expansion of scientific interactions using the joint scientific capacities of the two countries can be put on the agenda”.
