Signing MOU between RICeST and ISC and Tehran University

An MOU between RICeST and ISC and Tehran University was signed by Dr. Mehrad, President of RICeST and ISC on one hand and Dr. Rahbar, President of Tehran University on the other hand in July 17, 2012.
In this MOU, scientific and technological cooperation in the fields of software, scientific information, ranking and science production, .,. were agreed and as a whole 25 articles were presented the most important of which is related to designing a joint regulation to dedicate an special award of ISC for the Islamic countries top researchers such as those presented in Farabi and Kharazmi festivals. Also accepting Islamic countries students of master degree in scientometrics, using ISC scholarship was other important article agreed on. Those accepted for this purpose will be ISC representatives in their countries to develop its activities after their graduation.
It is supposed that a branch of RICeST be stablished in Tehran university so that Tehran university can use scientific services of this center for the other universities and research centers in Tehran.
This MOU will be valid for five years and it can be extended on mutual concession.
