Iran ranked 16th in producing science

Iran ranked 16th in producing science with 32084 articles in the world in 2013. Based on this fact, Iran has the first rank on the region in producing science. In this ranking, Iran’s position is higher than countries such as Russian Federation (31425 articles), Switzerland (30384 articles), Turkey (29396 articles) and Sweden (26495 articles).

The most important indicators in ranking countries are scientists and researchers, universities and research centers, subjective fields and scientific journals.

Iran’s statistics in producing science in Scopus Database was 37037 articles in 2012 which is more than 32000 articles till now but after indexing the new scientific journals in valid international journals, it will be more hopefully in 2013.
