latest world’s best universities in 2013 based on Scimago ranking system

Scimago Institutions Rankings reported its latest world’s best universities in 2013. Scimago Institutions Rankings is a science evaluation resource to assess worldwide universities and research-focused institutions.
Iran’s five top universities which ranked in this International ranking system are Islamic Azad University, Tehran University, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology.
These five universities ranked internationally respectively 461, 366, 234, 89 and 513.
Brilliant results will be achieved if their rankings compared nationally, regionally and internationally during 2006-2010. All these mentioned universality rankings have been boosted and it indicates the flourishing strategic plans of Higher Education of I. R. of Iran. Moreover, this report confirms the science production of Iran statistics which released by International citation systems.
The next Iran’s ranked universities in Scimago ranking are Tarbiat Modares University, Iran University of Science and Technology, Shiraz University, Ferdowsi University of Mashad and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences which respectively ranked regionally 20, 17, 24, 31 and 32.
