The Calculation of H-INDEX in ISC Database
<br/>Declaring the input of 80 thousand research documents into ISC database, Dr. Jafar Mehrad, the President of ISC, revealed the ability of ISC in computing “H-Index” as a modern scientimetrics indicator in assessing the science production as well as the scientific impact of individuals based on ISC data. H-Index is calculated based on the distribution of citations made to a researcher’s published documents. This indicator could also be used for assessing a small faculty group of a center or university.
